Ski Amis started in 1989 as a family run chalet company in La Plagne - we have grown significantly since then and now have 15 catered chalets (La Plagne, La Tania and Les Menuires), a number of self catered apartments and a team of about 65 people. The directors still keep very close to the staff and the guests as they are in the resort for most of the ski season and therefore always on hand to help with problems that may arise.

We provide a high quality service to our guests and we also care about our staff - we do expect a high level of service and commitment from you but in return we also do our very best to makes sure you can enjoy your season with us and get plenty of free ski time. We provide you with decent chalets and living accommodation and the tools and equipment you need to make your work as easy as possible in the kitchens and elsewhere. All menus and recipes are provided centrally and you will be given training to ensure you can deliver the service to the guests at the right level but still get your own ski time. Just follow the routines and the guidelines we give you, and life should be simple.

We also have vacancies in our resort office where you are able to fulfil an administrative, finance or sales role but still benefitting from living and working in the Alpine environment.  Our resort office works on a shift system which still allows you plenty of ski time with all the same ski season benefits.

OUR MINIMUM RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL POSITIONS:

- A UK/EU passport OR at least a UK working visa
- ALREADY EXISTING permanent UK national insurance number
- A full driving licence, held for at least 2 years
- Minimum age 21 years due to vehicle insurance requirements

Applications that do not fulfil the above minimum criteria will automatically be excluded without response.

If we have stated a “sex” requirement this is due to accommodation and sleeping arrangements to fit with existing staff and not because we have any specific preference one way or the other!

Our minimum age requirement is due to the insurance stipulations for driving our vehicles and we may on occasions consider younger candidates for certain roles if we feel they are unlikely to be required to drive. There is, of course, no maximum age limit for any of the positions we advertise.
