The Barn is a small family run chalet company with 2 adjacent chalets right in the centre of Morzine. 

Our emphasis is on a very high standard of service in a friendly home from home atmosphere. 

We are looking for 2 couples. 

One couple is needed to run our Chalet L'Ecurie (sleeps 12-16).  The cooking is to be done by owner of the company, Jon Chapple, who is a professional chef.  One person is to work as chalet girl/boy, the other to be a ski guide, do airport transfers plus help out in the chalet.

The other couple is to run our Chalet La Ferme (sleeps 10-14).  At least one of the couple needs to be able to cook to a high standard. 

WE NEED STAFF WHO WILL:

- Be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure our guests have a superb problem free holiday

- Create a fun atmosphere whilst remaining professional

- Respond quickly to guests needs and take initiative to solve any problems

- Be willing to work as a team and help with any job that needs doing.  There's no such thing as "not my job"

- Socialise with the guests after dinner

- Be prompt, hardworking and enthusiastic.

-keeping chalet spotlessly clean

-cook and serve breakfast

-assist with food prep

-bake cakes for afternoon tea

-cook and serve simple kids dinners

-serve pre and after dinner drinks

-socialise with guests after dinner

-serve dinner in a professional manner 

-wash up and clean kitchen

-stock taking

Chalet Host/Ski Guide

-creating a fun friendly atmosphere and ensuring guests feel at home

-4 days ski guiding

-cleaning and driving on changeover day

-maintenance of chalets' jacuzzi

-help serve and cook breakfasts

-assist with equipment hire and help organise clients ski/board lessons

-help serve and wash up dinner in a professional manner

-socialise with guests after dinner

2. Chalet La Ferme (sleeps 10-14):

-Chalet host/chef

-Chalet host/cleaner

-prepare starters and puddings for both chalets

-main courses to be prepared by Jon, the chalet owner

-finishing off and serving the 3 course meals for the guests in Chalet La Ferme

- creating a fun friendly atmosphere and ensuring guests feel at home

-cook and serve breakfast

-cook and serve simple kids dinners

-socialise with guests after dinner

-stock taking and food shopping
