YSE is the Val d'Isère chalet specialist, with 21 chalets, all in Val d'Isère. Because we don't go anywhere else, we are the only company which can guarantee successful applicants a position in Val d'Isère.

We employ Chalet Chefs, Cooks and Couples who have a passion for food, are able to cook to a high standard creating scrumptious dishes that our guests won't forget. We ask you to prepare a cooked breakfast each morning, bake a delectable cake for tea and a delicious four-course meal on 6 days a week.

Unlike many companies, we don't dictate a set menu, week in, week out. With guidance when needed, we leave it up to you to choose what you cook for your guests. We run our cooking course not to teach anyone to cook, more to discuss and swap ideas, practise what works at altitude and test local ingredients.

Overall, if you get the balance right, you can be skiing up to 6 days a week for up to 6 hours a day. We believe that our staff are the best around. They certainly seems to be the happiest - each year we have ex-staff calling our office asking to come back to work their second, third, even ninth season with us!

As we expect high standards from you, we are generous with what we give in return. We provide you with:

- Transport between London and Val d'Isère at the beginning and end of the season

- A two to three week familiarisation and training course in the resort (before the guests arrive)

- Accommodation (some with WiFi access) and food

- A full season, full area (including Val d'Isère and Tignes) ski pass

- Equipment hire (skis and poles or snowboard and boots)

- Free ski or snowboard lessons

- Medical and liability insurance cover, with a 'top-up' option to cover such things as possessions, equipment etc

- YSE uniform

- A competitive wage

(All applicants, especially those under the age of 21, need to show a good level of work experience - please be imaginative with the menus you submit!)
