The 2012 course runs 16 Jan to 23 March - accommodation is provided 14 Jan to 15 April.

Our BASI ski & snowboard instructor courses are an intensive ten weeks of training, coaching, and personal development, designed to take skiers & boarders to the level where they can be highly competent instructors. During this time, you'll spend over 300 hours on-snow training, and over 50 hours in classroom or tutorial groups.

What’s more, we include lift passes and accommodation for the remainder of the season so you're welcome to stay on once the course is finished - either working or just enjoying the skiing and/or boarding with your friends.

More about the course

Coaching and tuition takes place Monday to Friday, leaving the weekends free.  Daytimes are primarily on-snow time, with lectures and tutorials in the evening.

During your time with us you'll receive intensive training and coaching in all aspects of boarding, culminating in taking your BASI 2 assessment in the last two weeks of the course.

We run the BASI course alongside our professional ski & snowboarding school so that you benefit from the contact and shared knowledge with not only BASI Instructors & Trainers but also with our top qualified local instructors.

This enables us to offer training elements that are over and above those stipulated within the standard BASI requirements.  This includes more extensive freeride training with particular emphasis on safety, providing the foundation for the type of training appropriate to become a mountain guide.

And we're uniquely positioned to provide our ‘How to run a ski resort business' course, as well as giving you the opportunity to learn and/or brush up your French.

More about accommodation and food

We do not underestimate the importance of quality accommodation and location. That's why our accommodation is right next to the piste, only a few minutes walk to bars, restaurants and shops, spacious, modern and well-equipped.

Bedrooms are twin-bedded, with an open plan living room and kitchen, with all the conveniences and comfort to make for a very pleasant stay.  Each apartment is equipped with a dishwasher, coffee-machine, oven, hob, microwave, fridge, & cable TV, and has a balcony, ski storage and underfloor heating.

Breakfast & dinner is provided every day (including weekends), with continental breakfast in the apartments, and dinner in our own 'world cuisine' restaurant, 100m away in the resort.

And of course don't forget that you're welcome to stay in our accommodation when the course is over, until the end of the winter season or there is the option to stay in hotel.
