An intensive and practical chalet cookery course, taught by highly experienced professional (eight winter seasons, Michelin star kitchen experience and ski industry recruitment manager) chefs, delivered in a friendly, informative style.
Situated in the heart of the United Kingdom, within easy reach of many major motorways, rail links and airports. This fully dedicated teaching facility offers a technique based cookery course giving you the ability to adapt your newly found cooking skills to a wider variety of situations, making you more attractive to potential employers. Cooking experience is not a prerequisite to the successful completion of the course, as additional individual attention will be available to all.
Teaching, professional time saving practices as used in top hotel and restaurant kitchens, enabling you to maximise and enjoy your free time skiing or snowboarding.
This course is aimed at those who wish to learn the skills and techniques that will enable you to become successful chalet chefs and hosts. The course will include five full days tuition, all of which are a combination of theory and practice, the emphasis being placed on the cooking. You will be shown how to avoid culinary mistakes, recognise the critical points of each recipe and gain the techniques you will require to achieve a high standard of cooking, food presentation and kitchen hygiene.
